You Bought the Sauna. We Make It Work.
Prefab saunas have gotten genuinely good, and plenty of Jacksonville homeowners order a barrel sauna or indoor kit online. Then the crates show up: hundreds of pounds of panels, hardware bags, a heater that legally requires a licensed electrician, and an instruction manual translated from Finnish. That is where we come in. Our crews have assembled units from every major manufacturer, and we turn a driveway full of crates into a running sauna, usually in one to three days.
Professional installation is not just about saving a weekend. Kit warranties are frequently voided by improper assembly or non-licensed electrical work, and a heater wired wrong is a genuine safety hazard. Panels that are not squared and sealed correctly leak heat, warp in Florida humidity, and shorten the unit's life. Done right the first time, a good prefab unit gives you a decade or more of daily use.
Site Prep Matters More Than the Box
The most common prefab failure in Florida has nothing to do with the kit itself, it is what the kit sits on. Outdoor units need a level, drained base: a concrete pad, reinforced pavers, or a properly rated deck. We evaluate your site, handle the base work, and position the unit for drainage, code setbacks, and comfortable access. For indoor kits, we confirm the floor, clearances, and ventilation path before a single panel comes off the truck.
Electrical is the other half. Most prefab heaters require a dedicated 240-volt circuit, and Jacksonville requires permitted, licensed electrical work for the hookup. We coordinate the electrician, pull the permit, and test the unit at full temperature before we call it done.
When Prefab Is the Right Call
We build custom saunas from scratch, and we will be honest with you about which route fits. Prefab makes sense when the budget is tighter, the timeline is short, or the unit is going somewhere a full custom build is not justified. If your space, goals, or expectations point toward custom, we will tell you that too, and show you the numbers for both. Either way, you get a properly installed sauna and straight answers.
