Spa-Grade Steam, Built Into Your Home
Steam is the most requested amenity in luxury hotels for a reason: fifteen minutes in warm mist relaxes muscles, opens airways, and leaves skin feeling like you spent the afternoon at a resort. Bringing that into a Jacksonville home usually means converting part of a primary bathroom, extending a shower enclosure into a full steam shower, or building a dedicated steam suite alongside a sauna for the complete wellness setup.
Our steam rooms are designed around how you will actually use them. A morning steam before work needs fast generator recovery and simple controls. A couples' evening ritual calls for bench seating for two, aromatherapy injection, and soft lighting. Post-workout recovery setups pair the steam room with a cold shower head immediately outside the door. We design the room, the generator, and the controls as one system.
Waterproofing Is the Whole Game
A steam room is the most demanding wet environment you can build in a house, more punishing than any shower. Pressurized vapor finds every gap, and in Florida's already humid climate, a poorly sealed steam room becomes a mold problem inside a wall within a year or two. This is why steam rooms separate real contractors from tile setters.
Every build starts with a continuous waterproof membrane across all six surfaces, a sloped ceiling so condensation runs to the walls instead of dripping, a properly sloped floor to the drain, and a vapor-rated door with the correct threshold seal. The steam generator is sized to the room's cubic volume and tile mass, plumbed and wired by licensed trades, and vented so the room dries completely between sessions. We build it once, correctly, and it stays beautiful for decades.
Residential and Commercial Builds
Alongside home projects across Ortega, San Marco, Ponte Vedra, and the Beaches, we build commercial steam rooms for gyms, spas, and wellness studios that need high-cycle generators, commercial drainage, and finishes rated for constant daily use. Whether it is a two-person steam shower or a twelve-person amenity suite, the engineering standards are the same.
